Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actor, singer, and song writer. Most people recognise the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. She is primarily as a musician. Since she was 9 years of age, she began exploring music. When she was 12 the world of music had become significant enough that she was able to begin professional training. When she was 13, she started making music. Her debut album when she was 14. The music hasn't budged to the past since. Orrantia is a native of the USA however she has Hispanic origins. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic roots, despite speaking English only, and did not live in Mexico. She endeavours to maintain it through studying Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish that she has recorded, is an example. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X-Factor following the submission of a YouTube recording of her audition. She received the four "yes" votes of the judge in the live stage audition in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was solo however, during "Hollywood Week" she was placed with three other female vocalists into a trio for the remainder of the auditions.
