Hayley Orrantia, an American singer-songwriter and actress. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television "The Goldbergs.' She is primarily the performer. Music is her first love that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled into when she was just 9 years old. At the age 12 she was taking serious enough about music to start studying professionally. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. Since then, she has never ever looked back. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. Although she was raised speaking only English and was never in Mexico she is very happy about her Hispanic heritage. She endeavours to maintain it through becoming fluent in Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. One of her songs was a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Orrantia had been selected through YouTube videos and got an average of four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle during live audition phase. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she and three female singers were grouped together for the remaining auditions of "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated during the 5th week in the Live performance.
