Coleman is a Lancashire native. Coleman attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head girl and received straight As on her A-levels. In a discussion about her Emmerdale role, Coleman admitted that she regretted not having had a typical college education. Coleman participated in a club named In Yer Space at her school. The company performed Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. It also received an enthusiastic reception. Coleman was awarded the award with a prestigious award for her performance. Coleman was chosen for the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with the drama school. In 2007, Coleman was awarded two awards. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards, The British Soap Awards as the Best Newcomer, and the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. The award was presented to her as Best Actress, Sexiest Woman and Best Dramatic performance at the British Soap Awards 2009. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. The 21st of March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced at a press event that Coleman will as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose to put her in the role because she has the most chemistry Smith. She also spoke more quickly than he does. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. The most popular of her work is her TV work than film. Eva has played a variety of roles on television, but two stand out in particular: Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas' in CSI Miami. The latter even garnered her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards as well as gave her the chance to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is not only an actress, she is as well a philanthropist and businesswoman. She has been married three times, and has a daughter who is along with her husband.
